  • Katalin Jamrik

    Katalin Jamrik graduated from Kodolányi János University College, Budapest as a teacher of English Language and Literature and a Communication Specialist. Later she received her MA degree at Eszterházi Károly University, Eger in teaching English Language and Culture.

    She is an English teacher at Kossuth Zsuzsanna Vocational Technical School and Youth Hostel in Dabas, Hungary. Over the years, she has taken part in the preparatory process, implementation and dissemination in numerous Erasmus projects. She has worked as a 3D learning material developer and as an accompanying teacher in student mobility programmes as well.

    With her colleagues, she established HuMob Group Ltd, which is a Hungarian small sized enterprise concentrating on Erasmus+ projects where her main responsibility is maintaining international relations. Currently, together with other European educational institutions and organizations, Humob is implementing an Erasmus+ strategic partnership project aiming at raising environmental awareness of the youth.

  • Maïté Garnier

    Maïté Garnier holds a Master in “Knowledge transmission and new technologies”. She has been working more than 10 years in the field of energy education and awareness with a special focus on youth and vulnerable publics. She has managed several EU projects for HESPUL. She is regularly in contact with different publics for workshops, hands-on activities and participative projects. She has been trained in innovative education and communication methods as well as in behaviour change related to environmental issues.

    Hespul is a non-profit association. Their activities embrace all activities in the field of renewable energies and the rational use of energy. Hespul is an internationally recognised organisation specialised in Rational Use of Energy and Renewable Energies promotion through technical, educational and social activities

  • Brian Horne

    Brian Horne

    Brian is Senior Insight & Analytics Consultant at the Energy Saving Trust in the UK and has been working in the field of sustainable energy support for the past 30 years. He has advised small and large businesses, governments and private individuals on appropriate interventions to reduce energy use and carbon emissions and is a specialist in explaining complex and technical topics to a non-technical audience. He currently manages EST’s external consultancy team as well as being responsible for knowledge management and consistency of advice across the organisation.

  • Mariapia Martino

    Mariapia Martino holds a Bachelor degree in Design at Politecnico di Torino in 1997. She works at Energy Department – Politecnico di Torino (Italy). Her research field of interest is focused on the energy efficiency in urban areas, on training of final users and social housing energy manager respect to the energy saving and efficiency, on the analysis of the energy saving and on the energy poverty. She is member of the WG on Education and Training in the frame of the DHC+. She is author of 20 papers presented at international conferences, journal and book chapter.

  • Paulo Santos

    Paulo Santos works at the Portuguese Energy Agency (ADENE). He is specialised in maintenance buildings, systems of air conditioning, heat transfer, refrigeration, and thermal energy. He is currently doing a PhD on “Sustainable Energy Systems” at MIT Portugal, Paulo is an MBA by the Lisbon MBA. Previously, he has completed an European Master in Bioenergy and holds two university degrees in Chemical Engineering and Technological Chemistry. He’s also a post-graduate in “Environmental Management and Environmental Audits in Industrial Enterprises”.

    Paulo has extensive knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability issues, and he’s well experienced in management and coordination activities. In ADENE since 1996, he’s currently heading the agency’s energy labelling project activities, at both national and international level. He started the National Product Energy Labelling System (www.classemais.pt) in 2011, following his previous experience (since 2007) as main responsible for the design, implementation and management of the National Buildings Energy Certification System (in the framework of the EPBD Directive). Paulo also headed the Portuguese delegation to the European EPBD Concerted Action (CA-EPBD) for the European Commission and was chairman of the Buildings Working Group of the EnR European Network.

  • Nektarios Moraitis

    Nektarios Moraitis is Head of Energy Performance at RES Invest, an energy services and renewable energies development company in Athens, Greece. He holds a Masters in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and a BEng in Control Engineering from University of Greenwich, London. A qualified energy auditor and an incorporated member of the Engineering Council UK.

    His decade long experience in the energy sector spans over different projects and roles in energy efficiency, renewable energy, smart energy sevices, innovation and sustainable development. His involvement with the ECO2 project is the culmination of his continuous interest in behavioural change towards energy awareness and rational use of energy. He has recently been involved with enCOMPASS (H2020), the implementation of an integrated socio-technical approach to behavioural change. He has taken part at SHAPE Energy events, an EU interdisciplinary platform that brings together professionals from different sectors to understand energy efficiency.
